Radio Stuff

Mark

I've been working in radio at KAMB since 1980, and so have a fair amount of experience in on-air, production, and some engineering kind of stuff (though I am not an engineer!). There's not much here now, but I will try to get some more stuff going soon.

Rivendell Radio Automation

Rivendell

Rivendell is an open source Linux based automation system for radio or streaming. It is as full-featured as most of the very expensive commercial automation systems available. KAMB has been using Rivendell on the air since February of 2020, and it has been working very well. A good place to start for information is the Wiki at http://wiki.rivendellaudio.org/index.php/Main_Page or the commercial page at ParavelSystems.com.

Audacity

I've been using the open source audio editor called Audacity for many years, and find that it does a fine job for all of the stereo and multi-track editing that I need to do. Find it on their website: Click here.
